Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.  The Career Path programme for Dyslexia commenced in 1999 and has been very successful to date. 

Anne Hughes, from the Dyslexia Association of Ireland (DAI), achieved EU Horizon funding to start a pilot programme. Anne then approached Senior Development Officer, Margaret Byrne, from FÁS to work in partnership with DAI to start the pilot programme. 

From an idea in Anne Hughes mind and a belief that Margaret Byrne had in the idea, a hugely successful course for adults with Dyslexia was born. Now 12 years on this course has helped hundreds of adults with Dyslexia to trust in themselves and achieve further education, degrees and the jobs they dreamt of before Dyslexia knocked their confidence.
